Wendy N. Wagner grew up in a remote town on the Oregon coast, a place so small it had no grocery store and no television reception. When the bookmobile came every two weeks, the whole town gathered to explore its latest offerings. Books were her lifeline, her window into the outside world, and soon, an obsession.
After graduating college with a degree in philosophy, Wendy has worked as a pizza cook, a sheet music salesperson, a house cleaner, a youth garden educator, and as a birthday party entertainer. She is currently the Managing/Associate Editor of Lightspeed and Nightmare magazines.
Her third novel, An Oath of Dogs, was released July 2017 from Angry Robot Books. Her short fiction has appeared in over forty venues, including magazines like Beneath Ceaseless Skies and Farrago’s Wainscot, and anthologies like Autumn Cthulhu and The Way of the Wizard. She has also written tie-in fiction, including two novels, for the Pathfinder role-playing game
Wendy lives on the edge of Portland, Oregon, with her very understanding family and two needy cats. When she’s not gaming or puttering in the garden, she’s usually plotting some kind of mischief. You can keep up her at winniewoohoo.com or find her on Twitter, where she’s @wnwagner.
